About Mum's
Mum’s Tattoo has always been woman owned and was established in Bend, Oregon in 1998 by Angela Kent, who has been tattooing since 1996. Angela moved to California for about 5 years after marrying and became Angela Kephart. Angela kept her studio open in Bend while she worked for The Tattoo Lounge in Venice Beach and then Laguna Tattoo in Laguna Beach. Angela had the chance to work alongside the world-famous Bugs, one of her most idolized tattoo artists. Angela moved back to Oregon and continues to run her studio.
Angela strives to make certain that she's got plenty of time available for the high demand of walk-ins by allowing Mum's to host new and upcoming artists who have broad specialties. Angela specializes in American Traditional tattoos, large tribal, large floral, celestial , fantisy art, cover ups and custom work. Angela genrally has booking availability within two weeks for large work and takes walk ins when available. Angela also does freehand custom work. Angela is an extremely versatile artist. Angela has won several awards, been published in many books and magazines, and has attended many tattoo conventions in her 30 years of tattooing. Angela also has over 11 years of piercing expierence. Our collection of tattoo flash expands over 30 years and is impressive. We often do friday the 13th specials or give deals on flash artwork. We offer custom, flash and walk-in Tattoos. Specalizing in Traditional, Black and Grey, Fine Line, Cover-ups and can accomidate custom work usually within 2 weeks for larger work and also offer walk ins on the spot when time is availabe.
